Requirements
- Mastery of the full product development process—from product planning and discovery to concepts, build-ready designs, and prototypes.
- Expertise in integrating AI into the design workflow as a daily operating tool.
- Proficiency in building prototypes in code.
- Proven experience managing stakeholders in partnership with PMs, engineers, data, and executives.
- Ability to design patterns, templates, and components that enable PMs and EMs to ship independently.
- Strong communication and storytelling skills to articulate design decisions.
Responsibilities
- Partner across disciplines to define and deliver features that meet real user needs.
- Model AI-native ways of working for the Flights team, showing what's possible, not just talking about it.
- Turn complex ideas into clear, simple flows.
- Design for the best outcomes.
- Build trust and collaboration with product, engineering, and design peers while raising the quality bar across the org.
- Lead design reviews, refine how we gather feedback and make decisions.
- Continuously push fellow designers to sharpen their craft and clarity.
