Requirements
- 1+ year experience in a fundraising/development environment for Associate level, or 3+ years for Senior Associate level.
- Strong attention to detail with written communications, data entry, and spreadsheets.
- Comfort working in a CRM like EveryAction or ability to learn new software quickly.
- Proficiency in using AI tools such as ChatGPT or Claude for daily tasks.
- Ability to manage projects and influence stakeholders laterally and upward.
- Strong organizational skills to handle multiple ad hoc requests.
- Interest in progressive politics, advocacy, or electoral work.
- Understanding of 501(c)(3), 501(c)(4), and PAC funding structures preferred.
- Experience with prospect research or list-building tools preferred.
Responsibilities
- Maintain accurate gift-tracking and reporting processes in coordination with fiscal sponsors.
- Enter, update, and verify CRM data to ensure call notes, donations, and pledges are tracked.
- Execute and track grant agreements and reporting timelines.
- Pull CRM lists to support outreach and major donor briefings.
- Draft grant reports by compiling program updates and impact data.
- Support Principal call time through prospect research and briefing material preparation.
- Manage projects to improve team effectiveness and quality of processes.
- Run established automations for donor upgrades and briefing material generation.
- Produce and interpret reports on fundraising tactic effectiveness.
