Job Details

5+ years of professional software development experience in a production SaaS environment.
Strong proficiency in Go, including designing and building public APIs and distributed backend services.
Experience designing and operating asynchronous, event-driven, or queue-based distributed systems at scale.
Strong product mindset with empathy for customers and a focus on delivering high-quality user experiences.
Ability to operate autonomously, drive initiatives forward, and influence technical direction across teams.
Strong collaboration and communication skills, with a growth mindset and a bias toward continuous improvement.
Understanding of security-focused development practices, threat modeling, and building systems that handle sensitive data.
Experience working with containerized services and Kubernetes in production environments.
Experience working with transactional email systems at scale, including ESPs and SMTP relays such as Amazon SES and SendGrid.

Lead the architecture, design, and implementation of scalable notification systems for administrators across email and integration channels.
Partner closely with product, design, and data to refine hypotheses, define measurable outcomes, and interpret results.
Balance rapid iteration with long-term architectural health and security.
Set an example in code reviews by evaluating code quality, architectural alignment, performance, security, and adherence to best practices.
Mentor engineers through code reviews, technical design discussions, and pairing.
