Requirements
- 5+ years of software engineering experience.
- 2+ years building production LLM or agentic systems.
- Hands-on experience with a modern agent framework, preferably LangGraph.
- Strong RAG fundamentals including chunking, embeddings, hybrid retrieval, and reranking.
- Experience with production MLOps and deploying LLM workloads under latency and reliability constraints.
- Proficiency in Python and comfort with TypeScript/Node.js.
- Strong systems engineering skills (APIs, async patterns, queues, databases).
- Experience with structured tool interfaces for LLMs, such as MCP servers.
- Background in classical ML techniques like ranking, scoring, and calibration.
- Proven AWS experience (EKS, RDS, S3, Lambda) and IaC using Terraform.
- Ability to travel to Orlando, Florida at least twice annually.
Responsibilities
- Design and ship multi-step agentic systems including planner/executor and human-in-the-loop workflows for underwriting and risk monitoring.
- Architect agent graphs in LangGraph with focus on durable execution, retries, and failure recovery.
- Build and optimize retrieval layers using chunking, hybrid search, and reranking.
- Develop and manage evaluation stacks including golden sets, automated regression suites, and red-teaming for security.
- Expose agent capabilities to production systems through well-typed tools and MCP servers.
- Manage production MLOps, including traffic shaping, tracing, cost management, and on-call incident response.
- Collaborate with security and compliance teams to ensure AI workflows meet SOC 2, GDPR, CCPA, and fair-lending standards.
