Requirements
- Direct experience building with LLMs in production.
- Strong grasp of prompting, context engineering, retrieval, and evaluation.
- Practical experience working with frontier models.
- Proficiency in TypeScript.
- Strong full-stack engineering fundamentals.
- Rigor around evaluation using real data.
- Product mindset focused on user needs.
- Proactive, self-directed communication in a remote, async environment.
Responsibilities
- Own the direction of the AI that powers Nectir including context, memory, and tool usage.
- Design and iterate on prompts, context, retrieval, and memory across the product.
- Build evaluations such as golden answers and production monitoring to catch regressions.
- Work with frontier models to tune cost, latency, and quality.
- Build multi-agent patterns and tooling to scale AI capabilities.
- Ship AI-facing features end-to-end and integrate them into the platform.
