Requirements
- 7+ years of experience leading complex projects in civic tech, consulting, government, or adjacent environments.
- Strong understanding of public benefits implementation and administration (e.g., SNAP, WIC, Medicaid, EITC, CTC).
- Proven track record of cross-sector stakeholder engagement including product development and policy implementation.
- Ability to independently set ambitious goals and work towards deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Compelling oral and written communication skills with the ability to explain complex decisions to diverse partners.
- Experience managing project lifecycles, including scope definition, strategic planning, and cross-functional execution.
- Demonstrated capability to lead through ambiguity and utilize data to structure problem-solving.
- Collaborative mindset with experience facilitating decision-making across internal and external teams.
- Passion for the mission of digital service delivery in government and user-centered design principles.
- Curiosity about AI tools and commitment to their ethical application.
Responsibilities
- Serve as the primary project lead accountable for delivery across scope, timeline, budget, and outcomes.
- Shape and steward project-level strategy and translate program priorities into actionable delivery plans.
- Lead cross-disciplinary teams through ambiguity, facilitating decision-making and project momentum.
- Maintain partner relationships, manage project-level reporting, and lead external delivery conversations.
- Surface and escalate delivery risks, staffing needs, and resource gaps to Program Directors early.
- Document lessons learned and contribute to process improvements and knowledge sharing across the portfolio.
