About Code for America
Code for America pioneers the use of technology to make government work better for everyone. From launching GetCalFresh, which cut food assistance application times from 45 minutes to under 10, to Clear My Record, which has expunged over 490,000 criminal records, they build digital tools that transform public services. They partnered with 20 states to remove criminal records and helped Minnesota unlock $636 million in benefits through MNBenefits. Their Safety Net Innovation Lab, backed by $100 million, expands access to critical benefits like food assistance and healthcare.
