Requirements

  • Post-secondary degree in Business, Human Resources, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
  • 5+ years of experience as an HR generalist, people leader, or operational partner within a multi-site organization.
  • Strong understanding of talent management, performance management, recruitment, employee engagement, and organizational development practices.
  • Fluent in both written and spoken French and English.
  • Proven ability to deliver measurable business results through talent, engagement, and workforce initiatives.
  • Excellent communication, coaching, influencing, and relationship-building skills.
  • Ability to analyze data, identify trends, and translate insights into actionable strategies.
  • Proficiency with HR systems, reporting tools, and digital platforms.
  • Strong problem-solving skills with a proactive and continuous improvement mindset.
  • Willingness to travel approximately 25–50%, including domestic and occasional international travel.
  • Access to a personal vehicle.

Responsibilities

  • Partner with regional and district leadership teams to develop strategic people plans that support business objectives, operational excellence, and financial performance.
  • Build strong internal talent pipelines by identifying, developing, and preparing future leadership candidates.
  • Guide leaders in effective talent assessment, succession planning, performance management, and employee development practices.
  • Analyze workforce data, talent reports, and business insights to identify opportunities and anticipate future talent needs.
  • Design and support training initiatives that strengthen individual and team capabilities, including adaptation of French-language materials.
  • Drive employee engagement initiatives and partner with employee relations teams to resolve workplace concerns.
  • Support recruitment strategies and participate in leadership interviews to build diverse and inclusive teams.
  • Ensure compliance with applicable employment legislation across all supported locations.
