Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher strongly preferred.
  • 7+ years of program management, product management, or related experience in complex and regulated environments.
  • Strong understanding of healthcare operations, regulatory processes, compliance requirements, and implementation practices.
  • Experience supporting regulatory mandates, audits, inquiries, policies, procedures, or compliance-related initiatives.
  • Experience working within health plans or healthcare organizations is highly preferred.
  • Ability to lead cross-functional initiatives involving Legal, Compliance, Product, Operations, IT, and business stakeholders.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to assess business impacts, identify risks, and translate requirements into actionable plans.
  • Excellent communication skills, including the ability to create executive-level documentation and regulator-facing materials.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize multiple initiatives and deliver results independently.
  • Experience with compliance and business tools such as OpenPages, iComply, Q&A Fast Map, Law Exchange, Tableau, Wrike, and Microsoft Office is preferred.
  • Compliance certifications such as CHC, CPCO, CHPC, or CCEP are a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the Business Implementation Lead for payment policy and coding initiatives, coordinating implementation activities and ensuring alignment with regulatory, compliance, and operational requirements.
  • Review new and updated regulatory instructions, assess business impacts, identify risks, and coordinate appropriate implementation responses with internal stakeholders.
  • Lead cross-functional implementation plans by engaging subject matter experts, aligning impacted teams, and managing dependencies across business areas.
  • Develop, maintain, and monitor compliance action plans, timelines, deliverables, controls, and documentation to ensure successful execution.
  • Partner with Legal, Compliance, Regulatory, Product, Operations, IT, and other teams to support sustainable implementation outcomes.
  • Provide compliance awareness and program management support for payment integrity initiatives and operational improvements.
  • Prepare leadership-level compliance reporting, tracking progress, risks, and opportunities for improvement.
  • Coordinate compliance requirements across operational systems and processes, including claims, pricing, benefit configuration, and authorization workflows.
