Requirements
- Senior, hands-on experience owning a supply chain function end to end for a DTC or e-commerce operator.
- Direct experience with OEM manufacturing in China and cross-border fulfillment into the United States.
- Established China operating capability: based in China/GMT+8, or demonstrated track record building and managing an on-the-ground China team and QC network.
- Willingness to travel to China on a recurring basis for in-person factory visits.
- Proven strategic planning capability with documented experience in forecasting, cost redesign, and network scaling.
- Fluency in commercial mechanics of China manufacturing, including MOQ, payment terms, freight economics, and volumetric weight pricing.
- Demonstrated track record of hiring, coaching, and developing teams and leaders.
- Strong English communication skills, written and spoken, suitable for leadership settings.
- Ability to operate remote-first and async-first with documented processes and outcomes-based accountability.
- Comfort utilizing tools like Google Sheets for rigorous data management while defining future systems.
Responsibilities
- Design and scale the end-to-end supply chain architecture for a multi-brand portfolio.
- Build a robust demand planning and S&OP discipline to balance stockout risks with inventory coverage.
- Manage the OEM supplier network, including qualification, commercial negotiations, and implementation of dual-sourcing policies.
- Optimize per-unit landed cost through competitive bidding, volume-based negotiation, and logistics routing discipline.
- Establish structured quality and returns management loops to drive continuous improvement.
- Hire, coach, and develop the supply chain team while documenting SOPs and scaling systems.
- Lead cross-functional collaboration with Marketing, CX, Finance, and Amazon channel teams to align operations with business goals.
