Requirements
- 5–10+ years of experience in accounting, finance, FP&A, or operational finance roles.
- Expert-level proficiency in Excel/Google Sheets.
- Expert-level proficiency in modern ERP/Accounting software (e.g., NetSuite, QuickBooks, or Sage).
- Proven track record of managing inventory-heavy financial cycles.
- Strong accounting background with a CPA or equivalent professional accounting designation.
- Experience implementing finance systems or ERP tooling (preferred).
- Experience in collectibles, e-commerce, virtual-goods, or physical-goods businesses (preferred).
- Experience supporting fundraising, board reporting, or investor diligence (preferred).
Responsibilities
- Build and maintain complex financial models to forecast growth, hiring needs, and 'what-if' scenarios.
- Support annual planning, budgeting, and headcount forecasting.
- Develop cash flow forecasting and contingency planning models.
- Maintain investor-grade financial materials, including models, cap tables, and reporting.
- Own reconciliation processes between operations and accounting for inventory, revenue, and expenses.
- Improve visibility into company profitability, margins, and unit economics.
- Establish and maintain financial controls and audit-ready processes.
- Manage full-cycle month-end closing, ensuring GAAP compliance.
