Requirements
- Solid, hands-on experience building mobile test suites for iOS and Android.
- Proficiency in mobile automation frameworks using JavaScript or TypeScript (e.g., Appium, WebdriverIO, or Maestro).
- Expertise in handling native selectors, deep linking, and mobile-specific gestures.
- Proven ability to test APIs and backend services using tools like Postman and SQL.
- Experience simulating real-world mobile network conditions like throttling and offline modes.
- Strong understanding of Git, Azure DevOps, and CI/CD pipelines for mobile.
- Experience running tests across real-device clouds such as Test Mu AI, BrowserStack, or SauceLabs.
- Experience applying shift-left practices in agile environments.
- Expert ability to translate requirements into test conditions and edge-case scenarios.
- Conceptual understanding of asynchronous architectures and event handling.
Responsibilities
- Partner with the Lead QA to evolve and execute the overarching test strategy.
- Embed within a cross-functional engineering squad to champion quality throughout the development lifecycle.
- Drive early conversations with Product Owners and developers to define acceptance criteria and test coverage.
- Create and maintain robust automated test suites for the PCW platform.
- Act as the squad's expert for automation best practices, code reviews, and defect identification.
- Validate end-to-end data integrity and asynchronous system behaviors.
