Requirements
- 5–8+ years in business development or partnerships.
- Experience selling into retailers, brands, or commerce platforms.
- Proven ability to thrive in an early-stage startup environment.
- Experience negotiating commercial partnerships.
- Experience coordinating cross-functional onboarding with Product, Operations, and Legal teams.
- Knowledge of product feeds/catalog integrations, affiliate programs, or checkout/payment rails.
- Experience managing multiple partnership opportunities simultaneously.
- Demonstrated ability to build new relationships through proactive outbound prospecting.
- Comfortable operating in ambiguity and building processes from scratch.
Responsibilities
- Identify and prioritize high-value merchants aligned to Wizard’s consumer demand and strategy.
- Manage a high-velocity pipeline through sourcing, outreach, stakeholder mapping, and closing.
- Pitch Wizard’s value proposition and negotiate launch-ready partnership agreements.
- Own the internal deal process, including pricing, terms alignment, and contract readiness.
- Partner with Product, Engineering, and Merchant Ops to define integration pathways and ensure clean handoffs.
- Develop and improve merchant acquisition playbooks, qualification criteria, and pipeline reporting.
