Requirements

  • 5–8+ years in business development or partnerships.
  • Experience selling into retailers, brands, or commerce platforms.
  • Proven ability to thrive in an early-stage startup environment.
  • Experience negotiating commercial partnerships.
  • Experience coordinating cross-functional onboarding with Product, Operations, and Legal teams.
  • Knowledge of product feeds/catalog integrations, affiliate programs, or checkout/payment rails.
  • Experience managing multiple partnership opportunities simultaneously.
  • Demonstrated ability to build new relationships through proactive outbound prospecting.
  • Comfortable operating in ambiguity and building processes from scratch.

Responsibilities

  • Identify and prioritize high-value merchants aligned to Wizard’s consumer demand and strategy.
  • Manage a high-velocity pipeline through sourcing, outreach, stakeholder mapping, and closing.
  • Pitch Wizard’s value proposition and negotiate launch-ready partnership agreements.
  • Own the internal deal process, including pricing, terms alignment, and contract readiness.
  • Partner with Product, Engineering, and Merchant Ops to define integration pathways and ensure clean handoffs.
  • Develop and improve merchant acquisition playbooks, qualification criteria, and pipeline reporting.
