Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in public policy, economics, education, psychology, political science, communications, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in project management, data analysis, and staffing processes; or an advanced degree (MBA, MPA) with at least 4 years of relevant experience.
- Experience working on CMS projects, especially with multidisciplinary health services research teams.
- Proven ability to manage multiple priorities, meet deadlines, and adapt to changing project needs.
- Excellent judgment, attention to detail, and critical thinking skills.
- Demonstrated leadership and facilitation skills.
- Proficiency in project management tools such as Jira, Microsoft Project, or Smartsheet.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Experience managing technical or data-driven projects (preferred).
- PMP certification (preferred).
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with Project Directors and Task Leaders to plan, execute, and monitor project tasks, timelines, and deliverables.
- Develop and maintain project documentation, including standard templates, workflows, and processes aligned with AIR’s best practices and contractual requirements.
- Track project progress using tools such as Jira, updating dashboards and ensuring timely completion of tasks and tickets.
- Provide administrative and logistical support for project planning, implementation, and reporting.
- Forecast and analyze project data, synthesizing insights into reports and visualizations to inform decision-making.
- Monitor project benchmarks and performance indicators, identifying risks and recommending adjustments as needed.
- Coordinate cross-functional teams and facilitate communication to ensure alignment and accountability.
- Support resource planning and allocation to optimize team performance and meet project goals.
- Contribute to continuous improvement efforts by identifying opportunities to streamline project management practices.
- Ensure compliance with internal standards and client expectations throughout the project lifecycle.
