Requirements

  • 7–10 years of progressive accounting experience, ideally combining public accounting and SaaS or technology industry experience.
  • CPA designation required.
  • Strong knowledge of US GAAP, including ASC 606 revenue recognition, deferred revenue, multi-currency consolidations, intercompany accounting, and technical accounting principles.
  • Experience leading accounting operations within a multi-entity, international organization.
  • Previous experience in a private equity-backed environment and confidence working with auditors, lenders, and investors.
  • Strong understanding of financial close processes, reconciliations, compliance, and internal controls.
  • Experience with accounting systems such as NetSuite is preferred, along with familiarity with close management, reconciliation, or billing platforms.
  • Advanced Excel skills with the ability to build and maintain complex financial models and reconciliations.
  • Strong leadership capabilities with experience mentoring and developing accounting professionals.
  • Hands-on, proactive mindset with strong problem-solving skills and the ability to take ownership of complex initiatives.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to collaborate across finance and business teams.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the accounting team through monthly close processes across multiple entities and currencies, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and continuous improvement.
  • Own close management workflows, reconciliation processes, and reporting visibility while driving accountability across accounting activities.
  • Partner with FP&A teams on financial reviews, revenue analysis, variance analysis, and business insights.
  • Manage intercompany accounting, eliminations, transfer pricing structures, and multi-entity financial consistency.
  • Oversee accounting operations including accounts payable workflows, vendor payments, contractor payments, payroll coordination, and banking activities.
  • Lead annual audit processes, including auditor coordination, documentation management, and resolution of technical accounting matters.
  • Ensure compliance with accounting standards, internal controls, and audit-ready financial infrastructure.
  • Drive improvements to accounting systems, processes, and reporting capabilities, including transaction-level general ledger infrastructure.
  • Support strategic finance initiatives, system implementations, and process optimization projects.
  • Manage, mentor, and develop accounting team members while promoting a culture of ownership, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
