Requirements
- 7+ years of professional experience in public affairs, policy marketing, strategic communications, or government relations.
- Proven track record of writing speeches, op-eds, policy papers, and executive presentations.
- Hands-on experience designing and executing policy-focused events and VIP briefings.
- Strong foundational understanding of enterprise AI, generative models, and cloud infrastructure.
- Knowledge of global regulatory environments, such as the EU AI Act and global safety standards.
- Ability to partner with and influence colleagues across legal, research, and sales teams.
- Intellectual flexibility to manage fast-moving campaigns in a rapidly evolving landscape.
- Operational rigor to define a new public affairs function.
Responsibilities
- Develop core arguments, policy reports, and messaging frameworks to inform regulators.
- Draft high-stakes speeches, executive talking points, and policy papers.
- Conceptualize and execute high-impact policy events, technical briefings, and roundtables.
- Translate complex AI technical concepts into clear, resonant content and visual assets.
- Partner with Communications to provide strategic messaging architectures and risk mitigation strategies.
- Assess global AI policy proposals to identify and address reputational risks.
