Requirements
- Strong software engineering fundamentals with the ability to design clean systems.
- Proficiency in TypeScript and Python.
- Extensive experience building and operating backend services at scale.
- Track record of building AI- or agent-powered products with practical knowledge of LLM strengths and limitations.
- Strong product intuition for navigating ambiguity and technical trade-offs.
- Experience as an avid user of AI coding tools.
- Nice to have: Experience with agent frameworks or developer kits (e.g., ADK) and the LLM tooling ecosystem.
- Nice to have: Background in developer tools or low-code/no-code platforms.
- Nice to have: Front-end development skills with TypeScript/React.
Responsibilities
- Shape the core intelligence and behavior of the AI agent including intent interpretation, planning, and failure recovery.
- Contribute to the backend service to ensure it remains fast, observable, and resilient as production usage grows.
- Drive the strategy for measuring and improving agent quality through feedback loops.
- Collaborate with the VP of Agentic AI to align agent capabilities with user needs for building Unqork applications.
- Design and ship well-tested production code while managing technical trade-offs independently.
