Requirements

  • MSc or PhD in Molecular Biology, Biochemistry, Genetics, or a related Life Sciences field.
  • Hands-on laboratory experience.
  • Strong technical knowledge and professional expertise within the life sciences industry.
  • Previous sales and/or business development experience within the life sciences, biotechnology, or CRO sector (preferred).
  • Knowledge of the biological research and CRO market.
  • Experience with Gene Synthesis, Proteins, Peptides, Antibodies, or Cell Line Development Services (highly desirable).
  • Fluent in French (C1 level or above) and English, written and verbal.
  • Demonstrated ability to work in a global, cross-functional, and multicultural environment.
  • Willingness and ability to travel up to 30%.

Responsibilities

  • Contribute to the development and implementation of sales strategies and tactics for products/services, new markets, and new applications.
  • Work together with cross-functional teams to ensure all possible actions are taken to secure business in competitive situations.
  • Share market knowledge and customer feedback with Senior Management, Sales, and Marketing teams.
  • Use CRM to record and manage Sales pipelines daily.
  • Develop and maintain a relationship with key accounts.
