Requirements

  • Minimum of 2 years of professional experience in medical device sales, diabetes care, endocrinology, or a related clinical field.
  • Fluency in both Dutch and English is required.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of Type 1 and Type 2 diabetes self-management, including AID systems, CGMs, and insulin pumps.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to influence clinical stakeholders.
  • Proficiency with digital collaboration platforms such as Microsoft Office and Microsoft Teams.
  • Self-motivated with a structured, independent approach to managing a territory.
  • Willingness to travel within the Netherlands up to 80% of the time.
  • Possession of a valid driver's license and insurance.
  • Background in nursing, dietetics, or equivalent education preferred.
  • Experience working with Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs) and managing complex professional relationships.

Responsibilities

  • Manage the assigned region to meet or exceed commercial and clinical sales objectives.
  • Build and maintain strong professional relationships with endocrinologists, diabetes educators, and Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs).
  • Provide clinical expertise and technical training on insulin pump therapy to patients, caregivers, and healthcare professionals.
  • Identify new business opportunities and execute strategies to facilitate product adoption.
  • Organize and conduct product demonstrations, training sessions, and educational events.
  • Collaborate with internal teams including Medical Affairs and Customer Support to optimize the patient experience.
  • Maintain accurate, up-to-date documentation and activity records within the CRM system.
