Requirements
- 8+ years leading lifecycle marketing or CRM for a subscription, D2C, or recurring-revenue business.
- Deep understanding of subscription economics, retention strategy, and cohort analysis.
- Experience designing complex, multi-channel lifecycle journeys across email, SMS, push, in-app, and onsite.
- Fluency with CRM technical fundamentals, including data architecture and deliverability management.
- Hands-on experience with CRM or ESP platforms such as Klaviyo, Iterable, Braze, Customer.io, or Recharge.
- Strong analytical skills using SQL and tools like Looker, Tableau, Amplitude, Mixpanel, Hex, or GA4.
- Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional experimentation and influence teams without formal authority.
- Working familiarity with AI tools for segmentation, briefs, and reporting.
Responsibilities
- Own and evolve the complete subscriber lifecycle including lead nurture, activation, habit formation, conversion, engagement, and win-back strategies.
- Build and maintain detailed lifecycle journey maps documenting customer states, friction points, and intervention opportunities.
- Develop initiatives to improve subscriber retention and reduce voluntary and involuntary churn.
- Design and execute an always-on experimentation roadmap for onboarding, segmentation, and cancellation flows.
- Manage CRM operations including tech stack oversight, vendor management, and deliverability monitoring.
- Partner with cross-functional teams to integrate lifecycle strategy into broader business outcomes across Product, Growth, and Clinical.
- Own lifecycle reporting and performance metrics such as LTV, churn rate, and cohort performance.
