Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and management experience.
- 4+ years of management experience in higher education or high-volume customer service.
- Minimum 2 years of experience leading teams within a higher education environment.
- Minimum 2 years of experience using enterprise CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot, Microsoft Dynamics).
- In-depth understanding of the technology industry, including certification and credential requirements.
- Highly proficient in data analysis, reporting, and Microsoft Excel (forecasting models, benchmarking).
- Expertise in resume writing and utilizing career networking platforms like LinkedIn, Indeed, and ZipRecruiter.
- Strong presentation, public speaking, and written communication skills.
- Proficiency in MS Office Suite (Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, MS Project).
- Ability to work collaboratively, anticipate needs, and exercise independent judgment.
- Must reside in California and possess reliable transportation for occasional on-campus or seminar needs.
Responsibilities
- Hire, train, supervise, and evaluate a high-performing student-focused Career Services team.
- Oversee daily operations, including service delivery, systems integration, and student escalations.
- Establish, monitor, and report on KPIs regarding student retention, completion, and graduate placement outcomes.
- Ensure institutional compliance with ACCET, federal, and state reporting requirements, including Document 28.1.
- Develop and deliver career readiness programming, workshops, and webinars for students and alumni.
- Collaborate with academic departments and the Director of Employer & Industry Partnerships to align career opportunities with student success goals.
- Manage departmental budgets, resources, and performance reviews.
