Requirements

  • Experience working directly with farmers and landowners in a professional capacity.
  • MRICS or CAAV professional qualification.
  • Working knowledge of Farm Business Tenancies and rural land management environmental matters.
  • Proven ability using Land Registry and other legal/land management data sources.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills with experience presenting to groups.
  • Ability to manage personal schedule, maintain records, and prioritize tasks.
  • Full UK clean driving license.
  • Willingness to travel for regional site visits and events.
  • Numerate and computer literate with data analysis and manipulation skills.

Responsibilities

  • Identify, secure and deliver new Habitat Bank opportunities across the South of England.
  • Collaborate with regional Land and Ecology colleagues to shape and deliver a pipeline of Habitat Bank projects.
  • Mentor Land Managers and foster a collaborative team culture.
  • Build and maintain relationships with landowners, farmers, and land agents.
  • Lead end-to-end due diligence and coordinate with internal teams for site suitability.
  • Oversee planning and consenting for Habitat Bank creation.
  • Negotiate commercial offers with landowners.
  • Represent the company at regional and national events.
