- Minimum 10 years in the pharmaceutical or biotech industry.
- Experience in product communications, ideally with CNS, psychiatry, or neurology.
- Significant experience in clinical data communications.
- Proven ability to synthesize complex data into actionable strategies.
- Previous in-house and agency experience.
- Strong understanding of the US healthcare landscape, including regulatory policy and market access.
- Experience managing agencies, budgets, and cross-functional alignment.
- Strong executive presence with experience advising senior leaders.
- Ability to travel up to 20%.
Responsibilities
- Lead the development and execution of integrated communications programs that elevate awareness of product differentiation.
- Serve as the communications lead for commercial product teams.
- Establish collaborative working relationships with R&D, medical affairs, regulatory, government affairs, and brand teams.
- Direct multiplatform, integrated PESO communications campaigns.
- Develop and deploy media relations plans and maintain relationships with journalists.
- Design and implement sophisticated, highly targeted social/digital efforts to educate and shape the market.
- Support KPI and measurement framework development and provide regular metrics tracking.
- Lead reputation and issues preparedness planning, including scenario planning and leadership briefings.
- Partner with Medical Affairs and Clinical Development to translate complex scientific information into compliant communications.
- Oversee materials through internal review systems, ensuring regulatory and legal standards.
