- Expertise in claims management, adjudication, and contract provisions.
- Proficient problem-solving skills for claims experience.
- Ability to communicate complex terms and concepts effectively.
- Mastery of diplomacy, negotiation, and relationship-building.
- Proven knack for handling claim escalations and providing customer service.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Ability to work independently with sound judgment.
- Access to a high-speed internet connection.
- Located in the United States or Puerto Rico.
Responsibilities
- Manage relationships with the Field, Brokers, and clients to ensure quality of service for disability, life, dental, vision, and absence management products.
- Drive issue resolution for customer concerns and complaints regarding the entire range of products.
- Provide high-quality customer service recovery, investigating complaints and delivering service from a total need level.
- Partner with internal and external business partners to create action plans for service recovery.
- Consult with regional managers, sales associates, and vendors regarding insurance coverage needs and plan design.
- Identify trends in claim teams and field offices to propose enhancements that improve the customer experience.
