Requirements

  • Degree in Marketing or Business-related field.
  • 2+ years of sales and account management experience in transportation and logistics (preferred).
  • Strong track record in account management, including appointment setting, presentations, and closing deals.
  • Experience in pricing functions or analyst roles (asset).
  • Understanding of business processing requirements and ability to conceptualize solutions.
  • Experience with complex B2B sales deals (asset).
  • Strong knowledge of the sales planning process.
  • Strong verbal, written, and presentation skills.
  • Strong interpersonal and customer relations skills.
  • Proven negotiation and closing ability.
  • Ability to work independently and in a team environment.

Responsibilities

  • Build strong relationships with customers to meet day-to-day and long-term needs.
  • Manage customer expectations and provide exceptional customer service.
  • Work with the Implementation team to ensure accuracy in pricing programs.
  • Participate in rate matrix reviews to ensure profitability and competitiveness for key accounts.
  • Perform rate calculations, report preparation, and customer presentations for large-spend bids.
  • Identify, manage, and build new business relationships in the target market.
  • Maintain a database of clients, prospects, partners, and vendors.
  • Monitor market conditions, product innovations, and competitors' activities.
  • Coordinate prospect, sales, and current customer meetings.
