Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business, Engineering, or a related discipline.
  • 5+ years of experience as a Technical Product Manager or Product Manager leading Agile software development teams.
  • Experience delivering enterprise software products supporting complex business processes and large datasets.
  • Experience working on application modernization initiatives within federal or highly regulated environments.
  • Strong understanding of Agile methodologies, product management best practices, and iterative software delivery.
  • Experience managing product backlogs, roadmaps, and delivery using Jira and Confluence.
  • Experience collaborating with software engineers, solution architects, UX designers, business analysts, and data engineers.
  • Strong understanding of APIs, systems integrations, cloud-based applications, and data-driven product development.
  • Ability to analyze qualitative and quantitative data to guide prioritization and product decisions.
  • Excellent communication, facilitation, and stakeholder management skills.

Responsibilities

  • Define and communicate product vision, strategy, and roadmaps aligned with CMS modernization priorities.
  • Partner with government stakeholders to translate complex business and regulatory requirements into product outcomes.
  • Lead cross-functional Agile teams through product planning, backlog refinement, sprint planning, and release activities.
  • Develop and maintain well-defined epics, user stories, and acceptance criteria.
  • Collaborate with engineering, architecture, UX, QA, and data teams throughout the software development lifecycle.
  • Define requirements for data-intensive applications, reporting capabilities, APIs, and system integrations.
  • Modernize legacy workflows through scalable, cloud-native product solutions.
  • Identify opportunities to leverage AI, automation, and emerging technologies to improve user experience.
