Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university required; Business Administration, Finance, Risk Management, or related fields preferred.
- 10+ years of experience in relationship management, business development, claims management, risk management, or a comparable field.
- Demonstrated success leading complex sales processes and expanding enterprise-level client relationships.
- Experience managing and developing high-performing business development teams.
- Strong understanding of strategic account growth, partnership development, and consultative selling approaches.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including executive-level presentation abilities.
- Strong negotiation, analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and business development tools.
- Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively across teams.
- Professional certifications such as CPCU and/or ARM, or progress toward these designations, preferred.
- Ability and willingness to travel as required.
Responsibilities
- Develop and execute comprehensive business development strategies aligned with organizational growth objectives.
- Lead, mentor, and provide direction to a team of Regional Business Development Directors and sales professionals.
- Own regional growth targets, revenue objectives, and performance outcomes.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with prospective clients, existing customers, and strategic partners.
- Identify new market opportunities and develop initiatives to expand service adoption across targeted industries.
- Oversee the development of proposals, presentations, RFP responses, and pricing strategies.
- Partner with operational teams to ensure successful implementation and transition of new client programs.
- Represent the organization in client meetings, industry events, and strategic partnership discussions.
