Requirements
- Bachelors degree in business, marketing, or a related field
- 8 to 12 years total sales experience, with at least 3 to 5 of those in a sales management or leadership capacity
- Proven experience in a senior sales management or leadership role
- Background in manufacturing, construction, home improvement, or a related considered purchase category
- Experience selling a luxury or premium brand in a B2C environment
- A track record of successfully leading and developing a remote or geographically dispersed sales team
- Excellent stakeholder management skills, including the confidence and credibility
- Strong communication, negotiation, and presentation skills
- Comfortable and effective with CRM and standard Microsoft/sales technology tools
- Willingness and ability to travel extensively and consistently, including regular overnight travel
Responsibilities
- Lead, coach, and develop a team of Sales Executives across the West region, driving consistent, profitable sales growth
- Own regional sales budgets and KPIs, including calls, site visits, and sales conversion, and take corrective action where performance is falling short
- Identify new business opportunities, strategic partnerships, and channels to expand the customer base
- Collaborate with marketing on regional campaigns and lead generation
- Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and customer feedback, and adjust strategy accordingly
- Prepare and present sales reports, forecasts, and budgets to senior leadership
- Continually review and improve the end to end customer sales journey
- Get in the field regularly: travel with your team, meet customers, and build the trust that a remote structure requires
