- 5–8+ years of progressive accounting experience.
- 1–2+ years of people leadership experience, including supervising, coaching, and developing team members.
- Strong knowledge of IFRS and experience applying accounting guidance in a complex, multi-entity environment.
- Experience leading month-end close, financial reporting, and consolidation processes.
- Experience supporting a global organization, including collaborating across regions and time zones.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to navigate ambiguity.
- Experience improving accounting processes and strengthening internal controls.
- Proficiency with ERP systems and financial reporting tools.
- CPA or equivalent international accounting designation preferred.
Responsibilities
- Lead and coordinate the monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes to ensure timely and accurate financial reporting.
- Supervise and mentor the accounting team, overseeing balance sheet and P&L activities and ensuring compliance with group policies.
- Review and approve journal entries, account reconciliations, and supporting documentation.
- Manage statutory and local GAAP reporting across multiple jurisdictions.
- Oversee the maintenance of the general ledger, chart of accounts, and fixed asset registers.
- Manage intercompany accounting activities and support group consolidation.
- Partner with Global Finance Operations, FP&A, Treasury, and Tax teams on business initiatives and process optimization.
