Requirements

  • 5–8+ years of progressive accounting experience.
  • 1–2+ years of people leadership experience, including supervising, coaching, and developing team members.
  • Strong knowledge of IFRS and experience applying accounting guidance in a complex, multi-entity environment.
  • Experience leading month-end close, financial reporting, and consolidation processes.
  • Experience supporting a global organization across regions and time zones in a remote environment.
  • Proven experience improving accounting processes, strengthening internal controls, and implementing scalable solutions.
  • Proficiency with ERP systems and financial reporting tools.
  • CPA or equivalent international accounting designation preferred.
  • Experience with ERP implementations or system enhancements is an asset.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and coordinate monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes to ensure timely and accurate financial reporting.
  • Supervise the accounting team and review journal entries, reconciliations, and accruals to ensure IFRS and policy compliance.
  • Manage consolidation of financial reporting packages across multiple entities and jurisdictions.
  • Oversee statutory and local GAAP reporting and support internal and external audit activities.
  • Maintain the general ledger, chart of accounts, fixed assets, and intercompany accounting processes.
  • Partner with cross-functional teams including Finance Operations, FP&A, Treasury, and Tax to support business initiatives.
  • Identify and implement process improvements and system enhancements within the ERP.
