Requirements
- 8+ years of professional software engineering experience.
- Proven experience optimizing AI systems using machine learning and systems techniques.
- Deep experience with generative AI, particularly for agents and coding.
- Fluency in multiple programming languages (e.g., Python, TypeScript, Java, Go).
- Deep experience with concurrent programming (mutexes, atomics, and concurrency primitives).
- Experience designing APIs and writing documentation for publicly-available libraries.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills in English.
- BS or MS in Computer Science or equivalent experience in production-grade software.
- Ability to travel for company events and team offsites once or twice a year.
Responsibilities
- Lead agent optimization efforts, including multi-agent architecture, cache policy, and context management.
- Design and build agentic coding systems that deliver high-quality, reliable outputs.
- Develop deep understanding of AI application development patterns and emerging architectures.
- Take end-to-end ownership of new features, collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure reliability.
- Work with multiple programming languages, including Python, TypeScript, Java, and Go.
- Serve as a domain expert on AI design patterns and create canonical examples for field staff.
- Collaborate with the developer community to debug issues and gather feature feedback.
- Write public technical documentation for Temporal concepts and APIs.
