Requirements
- 5+ years of hands-on experience writing idiomatic, concurrent, and performance-tuned production Go code.
- Strong grasp of OS internals, memory management, file systems, process lifecycles, and the user/kernel boundary.
- Deep expertise in at least one major OS ecosystem (Windows, macOS/Darwin, or Linux).
- Track record of quickly learning unfamiliar OS internals and APIs.
- Proven experience developing software for distributed systems ensuring scalability and reliability.
- Experience using AI coding agents to accelerate development.
- Ability to mentor and coach junior engineers.
- Cybersecurity experience or a willingness to learn.
- Familiarity with EDR or EPP systems is a plus.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain high-performance agents using Go.
- Apply deep understanding of operating systems to extract telemetry and manage state efficiently.
- Integrate endpoint application with backend SaaS web application REST APIs.
- Build and maintain the concurrent, performance-sensitive core of the endpoint agent.
- Define best practices for responsible AI-assisted coding.
- Mentor and coach junior engineers on development and cybersecurity practices.
- Communicate architectural tradeoffs to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Collaborate with DevOps to utilize end-to-end testing frameworks.
