Requirements
- 7+ years of production experience as an Arranger or Builder/Enhancer of highly scalable distributed systems.
- Deep domain expertise in at least two of: Python, TypeScript, .NET, Ruby, or Rust.
- Solid computer science fundamentals in distributed systems concepts.
- Strong proficiency in multi-threading and concurrency.
- Experience writing production concurrent code in languages like Go, Java, Python, TypeScript, or .NET.
- Experience designing APIs, SDK libraries, or working with Open Source Systems.
Responsibilities
- Take end-to-end ownership of new features, working with the Nexus and OSS teams to deliver reliability and developer experience.
- Design and build Nexus interfaces for Temporal SDKs to enable durable workflow orchestration.
- Integrate Temporal SDKs with specific languages to execute application code in a durable, deterministic way.
- Develop foundational features for the reliable execution of agentic AI systems.
- Collaborate with the community to debug expert-level issues and gather feedback on SDK features.
- Write technical documentation for Temporal concepts and APIs.
