Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in an engineering or scientific field.
- 15+ years of directly related experience or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Proven experience interacting and co-architecting solutions with commercial and Federal customers.
- Strong design capability to translate notional concepts into technically credible products or services.
- Proven track record in innovation strategy, strategic planning, goal setting, process development, and budgeting.
- Experience managing and mentoring individuals and technical teams in an agile environment.
- Strong communication, leadership, and strategic thinking abilities.
- Ability to translate complex technical topics into business-friendly terms.
- Strong ability to present technical or business cases to executive leadership.
- Current and/or active US TS DOD clearance.
Responsibilities
- Architect high-level technical solutions, concepts, and applications for new market opportunities from inception through commercialization.
- Contribute to the development of marketing and sales materials, including customer presentations and proposals.
- Partner with sales and engineering teams to identify and develop solutions for US Government customers.
- Partner with the engineering team to identify, assess, and advance technical upgrades to existing products.
- Maintain a working knowledge of the space industry, including technology and market trends.
- Serve as the technology leader on Kepler’s US leadership team.
- Travel approximately 25-30% annually for domestic and international business.
