Requirements
- 5+ years of experience supporting enterprise / B2B customers in a technical, sales engineering, or solutions engineering role.
- Strong understanding of REST APIs, SDKs, and software integration workflows.
- Hands-on experience with APIs, WebSockets, Postman, Grafana, and JSON.
- Native or business-level Japanese proficiency with strong understanding of Japanese business culture.
- Business-level English for effective collaboration with global, cross-functional teams.
- Proven ability to translate complex technical concepts into understandable terms.
- Self-starter capability with experience managing multiple assignments in a startup environment.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently.
Responsibilities
- Provide technical support and relationship management for existing enterprise customers in Japan, acting as a trusted technical advisor.
- Partner with Sales and Solutions teams on pre-sales technical discussions, solution design, and API consultations.
- Guide new enterprise customers through API integration, implementation, and onboarding.
- Translate complex Japanese business and technical requirements into clear specifications for the global engineering team.
- Lead end-to-end technical sales engagements, including discovery calls, solution validation, RFPs, and demo strategy.
- Collaborate with local compliance and operations teams to understand regional product requirements like JFSA rules and NISA.
- Create sales support materials and documentation, including Japanese-language collateral.
