Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in Quality Engineering with a strong focus on automation testing.
- Deep functional understanding of SAP Commerce (Hybris) Pricing Engine (Price Rows, Price Groups, Net and Gross Pricing, Catalog-Aware Pricing, Promotion Rules).
- Hands-on experience in API, UI, and backend automation testing.
- Strong programming skills in Java.
- Working knowledge of JavaScript or TypeScript for UI automation.
- Experience using Python for data validation, automation utilities, or test scripting.
- Hands-on experience with API automation tools such as Postman, Pytest, and Java WebClient.
- Experience with UI automation frameworks such as Playwright or Selenium.
- Experience implementing automation reporting using Extent Reports, Allure, or similar.
- Experience integrating automated test suites into Jenkins-based CI/CD pipelines.
- Knowledge of SAP Commerce Product Content Management (PCM).
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain automated test frameworks and test suites for SAP Commerce (Hybris) pricing functionality.
- Automate end-to-end pricing validation across API, UI, and data layers.
- Develop and maintain regression automation suites to validate pricing configurations, promotions, and catalog-aware pricing.
- Create automation stories aligned with pricing-related JIRA tickets and sprint deliverables.
- Develop API automation using Postman, Pytest (Python), and Java WebClient.
- Build and maintain UI automation scripts using Playwright or Selenium.
- Perform backend data validation and develop utility scripts using Python.
- Integrate automated test execution into CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins.
- Analyze test failures, troubleshoot issues, and provide clear, actionable diagnostics for faster defect resolution.
