Requirements
- Demonstrated experience in grants management, financial analysis, audit, and compliance.
- Experience within an NGO, foundation, or international development context.
- Proven experience reviewing compliance documentation and advising on follow-up actions.
- Experience managing or supporting audit processes and tracking findings.
- Experience supporting misconduct or fraud-related processes from a financial perspective.
- Strong foundation in financial accounting and ability to interpret financial statements/audit trails.
- Proficiency with Salesforce or comparable grants management/CRM systems.
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines in a remote environment.
- Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Experience working cross-culturally with sensitivity to diverse partner contexts.
- Must have the ability to maintain a solid internet connection.
Responsibilities
- Lead and manage end-to-end audit processes for grants, including partner communication and audit report reviews.
- Complete compliance evaluations for active partnerships and monitor document submission deadlines.
- Manage the misconduct process, including case intake, documentation, and risk assessment coordination.
- Draft incident reports, risk assessments, and internal/external communications regarding compliance and risk.
- Provide technical guidance to strengthen the misconduct management process based on best practices.
