Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant discipline.
- 5+ years of experience in the pharmaceutical, biotechnology, healthcare consulting, or related industry.
- 5+ years of experience in market access functions including payer strategy, contracting, reimbursement, or managed care finance.
- Broad knowledge of the U.S. healthcare market access landscape across multiple therapeutic areas.
- Strong expertise in pricing, contracting, distribution, and policy strategies.
- Demonstrated experience developing and executing customer access strategies.
- Deep understanding of reimbursement environments and healthcare stakeholder dynamics.
- Proven ability to influence cross-functional teams and build alignment among diverse stakeholders.
- Strong strategic thinking skills with the ability to identify challenges and develop solutions in complex environments.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with experience presenting to executive-level audiences.
- Ability and willingness to travel approximately 25%.
Responsibilities
- Develop access and contracting strategies for a broad product portfolio from concept through implementation.
- Provide strategic recommendations and analytical insights to customer engagement and market access leaders.
- Serve as a central connection point for account, pricing, contracting, legal, and external affairs teams.
- Lead cross-functional initiatives related to emerging customer segments and innovative access models.
- Support account teams with negotiation strategies, messaging, and preparation for high-stakes engagements.
- Analyze contract performance and market trends to provide actionable insights for senior leadership.
- Partner with account leadership to address complex reimbursement challenges and strengthen strategic relationships.
- Monitor healthcare policy and market dynamics to identify commercial risks and opportunities.
