Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting.
- 3+ years of professional experience, ideally in SaaS technology, public accounting, or industry.
- Direct job experience with ASC 606.
- Advanced proficiency in Excel.
- Proficiency in AI tools.
- CPA preferred.
- Experience with NetSuite, Aptitude, or RevStream preferred.
- Strong analytical mindset and attention to detail.
- Business acumen and problem-solving ability.
- Self-starter with flexibility to adapt to team needs.
Responsibilities
- Integrate and optimize AI and new technologies to automate complex accounting processes.
- Develop automated workflows to review contracts for non-standard terms and determine revenue impact under ASC 606.
- Collaborate with commercial legal teams to structure guidelines for non-standard deal terms.
- Perform monthly and quarterly revenue activities, including recognizing revenue and account reconciliations.
- Prepare quarterly and annual revenue assessments such as standalone selling price and material right considerations.
- Assist in the preparation of revenue-related disclosures and metrics for reporting.
- Support external auditors with quarterly revenue testing.
