Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance or related area.
- Qualified or Part-Qualified Accountant (ACCA, ACA, CIMA, CPA).
- Minimum 3 years of experience in progressive accounting.
- Experience in a multi-national environment with multi-currency translations and consolidations.
- Advanced Excel skills.
- Experience collaborating with remote colleagues globally.
- Ability to handle a high volume of time-sensitive data.
- Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.
- Strong interpersonal, organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Publicly traded company experience is desirable.
- Payroll experience in multiple countries is an advantage.
- Workday experience is an advantage.
Responsibilities
- Manage the monthly close process for assigned entities, including standard financial statement reconciliations.
- Provide meaningful analysis for subsidiary and corporate-level financial statements.
- Review payroll changes collated by the financial operations team across multiple entities.
- Support ERP system enhancements and the rollout of new service lines.
- Identify opportunities for process improvements, workflow efficiency, and automation.
- Maintain records of accounting differences between US GAAP and local statutory accounting.
- Collaborate with local service providers on tax, statutory reports, and compliance filings.
- Assist with financial statement audits by providing reconciliation schedules.
- Manage monthly intercompany accounting processes, ensuring cross-border transactions and balances align.
- Perform intercompany balance sheet reconciliations and resolve variances.
