Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance or related area.
- Qualified or Part-Qualified Accountant (ACCA, ACA, CIMA, CPA).
- Minimum 3 years of experience in progressive accounting.
- Experience in a multi-national environment including multi-currency translations and consolidations.
- Advanced Excel skills.
- Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to handle a high volume of time sensitive data.
- Experience in collaborating with remote colleagues and employees globally.
- Publicly traded company experience is desirable.
- Payroll experience in multiple countries is an advantage.
- Workday experience is an advantage.
Responsibilities
- Manage the monthly close process for several assigned entities, including standard financial statement reconciliations.
- Provide meaningful analysis for subsidiary and corporate-level financial statements.
- Review payroll changes collated by the financial operations team across multiple entities.
- Support the Finance team on projects, including ERP system enhancements and new service line rollouts.
- Identify opportunities for process improvements, workflow streamlining, and automation.
- Maintain a comprehensive record of accounting differences between US GAAP and local statutory accounting requirements.
- Assist in the preparation of US GAAP, statutory financial reports, and tax compliance filings.
- Manage monthly intercompany accounting, ensuring cross-border transactions and recharges align across entities.
- Perform intercompany balance sheet reconciliations and resolve variances with global finance peers.
