Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in SaaS sales.
- Focus on data privacy, cybersecurity, or related fields.
- Proven experience selling to SLED (State, Local, and Education) markets.
- Demonstrable track record of consistent quota attainment.
- Strong understanding of the MEDDPICC sales methodology.
- Ability to navigate complex sales processes.
- Proficiency with Salesforce or similar CRM tools.
- Ability to travel domestically and internationally.
- Must reside in New York or the DMV Area.
Responsibilities
- Generate qualified leads to maintain a consistent sales pipeline.
- Conduct comprehensive discovery sessions and apply the MEDDPICC methodology for accurate forecasting.
- Negotiate pricing, packaging, and contractual terms.
- Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to meet legal, security, and compliance requirements.
- Manage sales activities and maintain pipeline data in Salesforce.
- Participate in deal reviews and pre-call planning meetings.
- Coordinate with other departments to ensure smooth transitions from pre-sale to post-sale.
- Activate existing customers for referrals and expansion opportunities.
