Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in SaaS sales.
  • Focus on data privacy, cybersecurity, or related fields.
  • Proven experience selling to SLED (State, Local, and Education) markets.
  • Demonstrable track record of consistent quota attainment.
  • Strong understanding of the MEDDPICC sales methodology.
  • Ability to navigate complex sales processes.
  • Proficiency with Salesforce or similar CRM tools.
  • Ability to travel domestically and internationally.
  • Must reside in New York or the DMV Area.

Responsibilities

  • Generate qualified leads to maintain a consistent sales pipeline.
  • Conduct comprehensive discovery sessions and apply the MEDDPICC methodology for accurate forecasting.
  • Negotiate pricing, packaging, and contractual terms.
  • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to meet legal, security, and compliance requirements.
  • Manage sales activities and maintain pipeline data in Salesforce.
  • Participate in deal reviews and pre-call planning meetings.
  • Coordinate with other departments to ensure smooth transitions from pre-sale to post-sale.
  • Activate existing customers for referrals and expansion opportunities.
