Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Environmental Science, Business, Marketing, or a related technical/scientific field.
- 3–5 years of proven success in B2B technical sales, specifically selling capital equipment, instrumentation, or automation.
- Direct experience with optical gas imaging (OGI), gas detection technologies, or industrial infrared thermography.
- Knowledge of LDAR workflows and methane emissions tracking.
- Familiarity with state and federal environmental regulations governing methane and VOC emissions.
- Documented history of meeting or exceeding aggressive sales quotas in an autonomous or remote environment.
- Ability to travel 50%–70% within the designated territory.
- Technical presentation skills to bridge the gap between complex technology and industrial applications.
- Ability to work effectively across diverse, international teams.
Responsibilities
- Prospect, qualify, and close high-value enterprise accounts in the energy, RNG, LNG, and chemical sectors.
- Conduct technical presentations and on-site product demonstrations of qOGI cameras to EHS managers and operations executives.
- Manage complex capital equipment sales cycles from technical scoping to contract finalization.
- Identify, onboard, and manage industrial equipment distributors and manufacturer representatives.
- Lead customer onboarding and field training for site operators to ensure successful technology adoption.
- Partner with internal application engineering, marketing, and R&D teams to communicate client feedback and market trends.
