Requirements
- 8+ years of property adjusting claims experience.
- Experience writing estimates in Cotality, Xactimate, or a comparable platform.
- Active adjuster license(s) or eligibility to obtain licenses in all required states.
- Experience in a remote or hybrid claims environment.
- Proficiency in Microsoft and Google productivity tools.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong negotiation, time management, and problem-solving skills.
- Tech-savvy with comfort using high-end technology tools for adjusting.
- Ability to work from home without distraction.
- Bachelor’s Degree preferred.
- Professional designations such as CCP, CPCU, or AIC preferred.
Responsibilities
- Manage end-to-end property claim handling from first notice of loss through closure.
- Conduct thorough investigations including policy review, coverage analysis, and liability determination.
- Complete accurate property damage estimates using Cotality estimating software.
- Provide superior customer service to policyholders, claimants, and agents throughout the claims process.
- Collaborate with internal partners such as SIU, Subrogation, Legal, and Underwriting.
- Manage and collaborate with vendor partners including contractors and independent adjusters.
- Remain logged into phone queues to assist customers and respond to inbound inquiries.
