Requirements
- 10+ years leading technically complex IT projects and programs.
- 8+ years in a dedicated Project Manager role.
- Proven experience driving projects through the full lifecycle using standard PMO artifacts (Project Charter, RAID, RACI, schedules).
- Demonstrated experience delivering healthcare IT implementations, with payer-side experience strongly preferred.
- Expertise in hybrid environments combining Agile execution with milestone-based planning and governance.
- Technical fluency in coordinating across software development, data engineering, system integration, QA, and architecture functions.
- Strong ability to identify, track, and escalate risks, issues, and cross-functional dependencies.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills across client, leadership, and cross-functional audiences.
- Hands-on experience with Smartsheet, Jira, and AI agentic tools for project management.
- Experience working for or with a US Medicaid payer (preferred).
- Formal project management certification such as PMP or PRINCE2 (preferred).
- Certified Scrum Master (CSM) or equivalent Agile certification (preferred).
Responsibilities
- Manage end-to-end delivery of multiple large-scale projects or multiple smaller projects, ensuring timelines, scope, and quality are consistently achieved.
- Coordinate closely with Client Delivery Managers to understand client requirements and translate them into delivery objectives, milestones, dependencies, and sequencing.
- Apply industry standard project management practices across Schedule Management, Risk Management, Communications Management, and Stakeholder Engagement.
- Partner with cross-functional technical teams and client teams to translate needs into clear business-facing decisions, status updates, and mitigation plans.
- Own integrated project schedule management, including work plan development, milestone tracking, dependency management, and critical path visibility.
- Maintain disciplined risk and issue management practices, including RAID log ownership, escalation path management, and follow-through.
- Conduct detailed resource planning and capacity management to support realistic delivery commitments.
- Facilitate regular status meetings to maintain project health visibility and ensure timely escalation of dependencies.
