Big Brothers Big Sisters of America is a non-governmental organization dedicated to providing children from adverse backgrounds with one-on-one mentoring relationships. Established in 1904 and based in New York, it connects screened volunteer mentors with children, helping them achieve educational success, improve confidence, and build better relationships. With nearly 340 agencies nationwide, BBBS serves around 200,000 children and families, supported by an equal number of volunteer mentors.
