Requirements
- 5 to 8 years of experience in an HR generalist, people operations, or office/corporate operations role.
- Direct experience administering employment agreements and coordinating with legal counsel.
- Demonstrated experience managing contracts, NDAs, or corporate documentation.
- Strong attention to access control and version discipline.
- Proven ability to work independently in a remote role.
- Excellent written communication skills.
- Strong organizational judgment with a systems-oriented approach.
- Discretion handling sensitive compensation and legal data.
- Bachelor's degree in HR, business administration, or related field preferred.
- Experience supporting international employees or contractors (EOR, classification) is a plus.
- Exposure to IP administration in software or technology companies is a plus.
- HRIS selection or implementation experience is a plus.
- CPHR designation or working toward it is a plus.
Responsibilities
- Manage job postings, applicant screening, and interview coordination.
- Execute full employee onboarding, including agreements, equipment, accounts, and orientation.
- Administer payroll onboarding and benefits enrollment using QuickBooks Online Payroll.
- Coordinate probation and annual performance review cycles.
- Oversee offboarding processes including documentation, exit interviews, and access control.
- Maintain company policies in Confluence and ensure compliance with provincial standards.
- Plan and deliver the annual company retreat.
- Maintain compliant employment and contractor agreements across jurisdictions.
- Manage and organize signed contracts, NDAs, and corporate legal documentation.
- Administer IP documentation and support execution of IP strategy.
