Requirements
- 5+ years of technical writing experience (including senior or equivalent).
- Strong portfolio of developer-focused content such as user guides, installation guides, API references, tutorials, and technical blog posts.
- Hands-on expertise with Java, Kubernetes, Helm, and Docker.
- Ability to deeply understand and use complex technical products.
- Experience writing about AI concepts including LLMs, RAG, and model context protocol.
- Proven ability to tailor content for diverse audiences including software engineers, application developers, and business analysts.
- Experience with Docs-as-Code workflows.
- Proficiency with documentation frameworks such as Docusaurus.
- Comfort using Git and Markdown in a developer-centric environment.
- Ability and/or willingness to use Camunda products.
Responsibilities
- Own and drive the documentation for one or more product areas as an embedded technical writer.
- Work closely with engineers, product managers, and designers to stay informed about product roadmaps.
- Become a subject matter expert to create documentation that reflects real-world usage and developer needs.
- Lead documentation efforts from concept through release.
- Advocate for documentation as a critical part of the user experience.
- Continuously improve the structure, clarity, and completeness of documentation based on analytics and user feedback.
- Collaborate with other writers to share best practices and evolve documentation tooling and standards.
