Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience within an OPE or OPE parts manufacturer.
  • 3+ years of field sales experience within an OPE or OPE parts manufacturer.
  • Strong industry knowledge of professional handheld and wheeled outdoor power equipment.
  • Understanding of independent servicing dealer channels.
  • Proven ability to collaborate with and influence senior management and business stakeholders.
  • Excellent organizational, time management, and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Associate's degree preferred or equivalent work experience.
  • Ability to work occasional evenings and weekends as required.

Responsibilities

  • Achieve assigned sales goals and objectives for the business segment.
  • Manage and maintain company-issued demo equipment.
  • Conduct product training for distributor staff and key dealer personnel.
  • Prospect and acquire new accounts to expand the commercial distribution base.
  • Lead company participation in tradeshows and key marketing events.
  • Develop initiatives to support new product launches within the assigned geography.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with marketing, product management, and field sales teams.
