Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree
  • 5+ years of successful direct sales experience or experience in the education field
  • Teaching or education tech/publishing experience
  • Reside within Western Colorado or Southeastern Utah
  • Able to commit to a heavy travel schedule (60-70% travel) within the territory and for national/regional sales meetings
  • Excellent verbal, written, and comprehension skills
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently with minimum supervision
  • Strong presentation skills
  • Experience selling to schools and districts within Western Colorado or Southeastern Utah

Responsibilities

  • Independently develop, implement, and manage comprehensive territory strategies.
  • Apply expertise in educational marketplace analysis and funding developments to inform sales strategies.
  • Exercise independent judgment in customer engagement, pricing, and resource deployment.
  • Leverage product knowledge to assess complex customer needs and design customized solutions.
  • Manage business pipeline development, revenue forecasting, and strategic account planning.
  • Develop and maintain long-term strategic partnerships with key educational stakeholders.
  • Conduct independent analysis of territory trends and competitive landscapes.
